MyRobots.fun is a brand new project to get you started creating robots your way.

Rather than using expensive specialised kits, our mission is to help you use materials that are readily available in the home or at a regular DIY store such as plastic milk bottles and water pipes.

This site provides templates and suggestions that are intended to be starting points for your robot journey. Where possible we indicate alternative approaches you can take if you don’t have the materials that we have used to hand.

We want you to be creative, using our ideas as a starting point rather than the end point.

To control the robots we provide programmes for the Arduino and BBC Microbit systems that you can adapt.

You can download the templates and code by setting up an account and by making a small payment through Paypal.

The money raised will help to support this project and help others to get involved.

As the project evolves we will be releasing plans for different parts of the robot. Right now, we are releasing plans to enable you to make a robot hand and forearm.

Click on the Examples tab to see what we have created… and what you can adapt for your own robot.

Thank you for visiting and we look forward to hearing about the robots you create.
